Nighthawk Vineyards is a boutique family owned winery in Okanagan Falls, focused on sustainable farming practices and high-quality small lot wine production. A truly magical destination overlooking the panoramic Green Lake Valley.

Winery Hours:

February 2 – March 31, Friday to Sunday, 11:00 to 4:00pm
April 1- May 15, Wednesday to Sunday, 11:00 to 4:00pm
May 15 to September 30, open 7 days per week 11:00 to 5:00pm
October 1- 31, Wednesday to Sunday, 11:00 to 4:00pm

Q How did Nighthawk Vineyards get its name?

Nighthawks are a nocturnal bird from the nightjar family, who are easily identified by their vocalization when swooping downwards and the white stripe under their wing. Being located in the northern tip of the Sonoran Desert, the Nighthawks migrate all the way up to Okanagan Falls each year from May to September. In the evenings, the Nighthawks come out and put on quite a show over our property. They are actually only catching bugs by the lakeshore, but we consider them "The Guardians" of the vineyard at night.
