2025 GROWING CONDITIONS
The 2025 growing season began earlier than usual, with abundant sunshine and warmth that encouraged strong canopy growth and steady berry development. Despite the frosts in 2024, the surviving vines bounced back, showing vigorous growth. A consistent pattern of warm days and cool nights helped white varietals reach maturity ahead of schedule, resulting in an early harvest. Although an unusual number of thunderstorms brought challenges such as heat and humidity, careful vineyard management kept the fruit healthy. The vines continued to thrive throughout the summer, culminating in one of the earliest harvests on record.
WINEMAKING
The grapes were hand-picked at optimal ripeness, then gently pressed with very little skin contact. Fermentation followed in cool stainless steel tanks and then aged for two months which allows the wine to hold onto its bright, fresh and expressive fruit character.
FLAVOUR PROFILE
Bright and clear in the glass, this Pinot Gris offers fresh, clean aromas of white peach, citrus, and gooseberry. Light-bodied with a smooth, rich texture, it is lifted by lively acidity and features flavours of apricot, green apple, and subtle spice that gently linger on the finish.
