Orofino focuses on producing single vineyard wines from Similkameen Valley Vineyards. We produce a variety of wines that showcase our unique terroir, and that are natural, balanced and real. We are Canada’s first strawbale winery and the eco-friendly solar-powered design is both beautiful and functional.
Visitors to Orofino will enjoy a casual sit down tasting experience in the beautiful courtyard surrounded by almond trees and vines. During a tasting, our knowledgable team will provide an experience where our guests will discover what makes this place and these wines so special.
Looking for accommodations in wine country? Orofino offers gorgeous one and two bedroom suites to rent and our Winery Guesthouse is perfect for small groups or a family get together. All are situated amongst our vineyards and boast stunning views of the Similkameen Valley.

Can I visit without an appointment?
While we do encourage booking your tasting, we do accept walk-ins when permitted.
What is involved in a tasting?
Our tasting fees are $10 per person and include your choice of 5 wines.
Is the tasting fee waived with purchase?
We do not waive the tasting fee, however we donate half of the tasing fees to a charitable cause.
Can I purchase a glass of wine while there?
Yes, you may purchase wine by the glass to enjoy in our outdoor patio area.
