Today, that spirit lives on at BC’s original craft distillery.

This intimate space invites you to experience the artistry of farm-to-flask production while savoring premium whiskies, gins, vodkas, fruit liqueurs, and pre-batched craft cocktails. Every sip tells the story of local terroir, crafted from 100% B.C. grains and fruits.

The design reflects Kelowna’s heritage, featuring reclaimed wood from historic fruit packing houses and a stunning recycled glass spirits bar. It’s a setting that feels both nostalgic and modern—a perfect backdrop for tasting Canada’s most awarded spirits.

Open seven days a week, the Kelowna distillery welcomes you for drop-in tastings or one of its popular pre-booked Distillery Experiences, where you’ll learn the secrets behind craft distilling and enjoy guided tastings like a pro.

Q Do I need a reservation for tastings at the Kelowna distillery?

No reservation is required for drop-in tastings. The tasting fee is $10 for three spirits and is waived with a purchase. Please book their popular Distillery Experiences or Private Tastings online at OKS.ca or by calling the distillery location.

Q What makes the Kelowna location unique?

The Kelowna distillery is a Prohibition Edition boutique distillery and cocktail lounge located in downtown Kelowna on Bernard by the lake. It features reclaimed wood and recycled glass décor, paying homage to the region’s fruit-packing history and prohibition-era craft spirit culture.

Q What spirits can I taste in Kelowna?

You can sample from their full lineup of award-winning spirits, including whiskies, gins, vodkas, fruit liqueurs, and Canada’s first genuine absinthe, as well as pre-batched premium craft cocktails.

Yes! They offer curated experiences such as the Farm-to-Flask Tour, Whisky Experience, GINtroduction, and Cocktail Creation Class, each including a guided tasting and behind-the-scenes look at craft distilling.

Q What are the hours and age requirements?

Their Kelowna distillery is open daily from 10am–6pm and has extended hours in the summer. All tastings and experiences are 19+ only but families and well-behaved pooches are welcome.
