Our vineyard sits on a rare geological gem known as the Black Sage Gravelbar — a small, stony pocket on the northern tip of the Black Sage benchlands. Beneath a thin layer of sandy loam lies a deep bed of ancient glacial stones, coated in mineral-rich carbonate skins. These rocks don’t just shape the land — they shape the wine. They rise to the surface with each freeze and thaw, absorbing the desert sun by day and radiating warmth by night, helping our grapes develop their signature depth and character.It’s a place of extremes: scorching days, brisk nights, and soil that challenges the vines to thrive. But struggle breeds beauty — and our Pinot varietals love it here. Among them is Pinotage, a bold, expressive grape rarely found in the Okanagan Valley. Originally from South Africa, Pinotage is a cross between Pinot Noir and Cinsaut, and it’s notoriously tricky to grow. But here, on this rocky terrain with dramatic temperature swings, it flourishes. The result? A wine with vibrant fruit, earthy undertones, and a personality as distinctive as the land itself.
From the chalky minerality of our Pinot Gris to the robust fruit of our Pinotage, every bottle reflects the land it came from — and the people who’ve nurtured it. We’re proud to be one of the few producers in the region growing Pinotage, among our specialization in Pinot varietals.

Do you offer any discounts on memberships?
Yes! We have a wine club membership that includes a wine discount, free shipping and wine shipments three times a year of a minimum of 6 bottles along with several other club perks or alternatively we also offer our subscriber list members a variety of perks throughout the year when you sign up for our mailing list on the website.
