Garagiste Horseshoe Found Winery is offering food friendly wines crafted from their small lot grapes. Pinot Noir, Muscat Ottonel, Gewurztraminer, and Cabernet Sauvignon “grapes are grown organically in single lots and hand harvested to produce genuine quality wines in small batches” Author:  Julian Park

We craft our wines with little intervention and little additions, and the wines are vegan friendly. Utilizing naturally occurring wild yeast, both whites and reds have skin contact prior and during fermentation and are barrel aged to produce layered, food friendly wines. We are proud to be a member of Wine Growers BC, in Similkameen Valley.

Featuring:
Pinot Noir 2020 – medium bodied with vibrant red berry notes, a good balance of fruit and acidity, nicely integrated tannins with a hint of hallmark Similkameen minerality through the middle. Unfiltered and unfined.” Author: Tim Pawsey
Muscat 2021-Dry (orange style) inspired by ancient Georgian style orange wines, fermented on skins and natural yeast. Finishing four months in neutral barrels with a secondary fermentation. Medium golden, aroma of muscat grape, citrusy tang and minerality notes. Lower 10.9% alc/vol, limited edition and vegan friendly. Released at the end of January 2023.

 

We are open year round: 11 to 4 during shoulder season and 11 – 5 during high season. NOTE: please email pamihorak@gmail.com or call 778 773 9605 to confirm that we are open on the day that you are planning to visit, as we are a super small team and wear several hats. That includes running errands and delivery runs. Tasting samples are available during peak season visits.

2019 MuscGewurz Gewurztraminer and Muscat Ottonel grapes. Processed separately by gentle crush and slow fermentation in stainless steel tanks. 2020 White Muse White Muse 2020 – Hand selected, hand harvested, blend of 80% Gewurztraminer and 20% Muscat Ottonel. A dry wine with notes of rosewater and apricot. The palate has ginger spice and lychee with a hint of grapefruit. A balanced wine that pairs well with flavourful foods, spicy Asian cuisine, bold cheese and Charcuterie plates. It is ready to drink and to be served chilled. White Muse 2020 – Hand selected, hand harvested, blend of 80% Gewurztraminer and 20% Muscat Ottonel. A dry wine with notes of rosewater and apricot. The palate has ginger spice and lychee with a hint of grapefruit. A balanced wine that pairs well with flavourful foods, spicy Asian cuisine, bold cheese and Charcuterie plates. It is ready to drink and to be served chilled.

2020 White Horseshoe White Horseshoe 2020 – This triple blend of Gewurztraminer, Viognier, and Muscat has notes of white pear, citrus and ginger spiciness. On the palate there is a touch of effervescence and a bold dry to off dry finish. This wine pairs well with pork or veal, creamy sauces and roasted turkey. 2020 Viognier This Viognier was harvested from single vineyard in the Similkameen Valley on October 1, 2020 with Brix 24.0. Wine was cold soaked for 24 hours prior to fermentation, then barrel aged for 4 months. Crispy and dry wine pairs well with seafood, and light meals and cheeses. Yes, you can; but we recommend to call or email, as we are a super small team and might be running errands, so the winery can be closed at times for short period of time.
